LAHORE (92 News) – A three-year-old girl Hiba Jannat, who was abducted by unidentified person from the roadside in Shad Bagh area of the Lahore, has been found safe on Wednesday. According to the reports, the abductor left the girl outside the mosque and the police taken the girl in its custody. Meanwhile, Police are searching for Hiba, a 3-year-old girl who authorities say was abducted today, in the same place where she was found. It also said that the police continued its search operation for arresting the abductor. Earlier today, a three-year-old girl has been kidnapped by an unidentified person from the roadside in Shad Bagh area of the Lahore.  The footage which was obtained by 92 News showed that the girl was walking besides the road reportedly with her four-year-old brother when the alleged abductor came closer to the children and gripped the hand of Hiba Jannat and vanished from the location. However, the alleged kidnapper left her brother and taken away the girl with him. It was reported that the police official told that raids are being conducted to recover the abducted girl. High-level officials said the police department was making all-out efforts to recover the girl at earliest.
SHO, cops booked for ‘negligence’ in Farishta rape-cum-murder case
Earlier, the Shahzad Town police have registered a case against SHO and other cops on the charge of negligence in the rape and murder case of 10-year-old girl Farishta.

Her body was found from a nearby jungle. She was later laid to rest in a local graveyard. Her relatives had staged a demonstration and blocked road by placing her body throughout the day.

The Islamabad deputy commissioner has also ordered a judicial inquiry into the matter. On their demand, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar met the protesters and assured them of justice. Later, they ended their protest. According to the FIR, the SHO and cops had asked the family that the girl would have eloped with someone instead of looking for him. Several politicians visited the house of the victim to express sympathies with the bereaved family. Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Sirajul Haq also visited the house to express his condolences. The Islamabad IGP visited the house of the victim. On the other hand, the police have collected evidence from the house of all three suspects. Samples from the accused have been taken for the DNA test. The judicial inquiry will be completed in a week.
