QUETTA (92 News) – Abdul Quddus Bizenjo of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q was sworn in as the new chief minister of Balochistan on Saturday. Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai administered the oath to the newly-elected CM. Fourteen-member cabinet also took the oath. Earlier, the Balochistan Assembly elected Bizenjo as the new chief minister. He got 41 votes, while his rival Liaquat Agha of the Pashtunkhuwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) bagged 13 votes. Speaking on the occasion, the newly-elected chief minister said that no undemocratic job was done. “I have no personal grudge against Sanaullah Zehri. I thank all parties, including the PML-N, that vote for me,” he said. The official announcement regarding the new chief minister was made by Speaker Raheela Hameed Durrani. Stringent security arrangements were made on the occasion. Talking to the media, he said that he would face the media when the problems off the province will end. “I will continue to take steps to bring the estranged Baloch leaders to the mainstream,” he said. Bizanjo said that he would not tolerate terrorism at any cost. He said that the assembly will not be dissolved and complete its term.
