Abeera murder case: Accused Uzma Rao awarded death sentence

LAHORE (92 News) – Additional Sessions Judge Ayesha Rashid awarded death to a female accused in the model Abeera murder case on Tuesday. The court also fined the convict Uzma Rao Rs 500,000. The court acquitted co-accused Farooqur Rahman and Hakeem Zeeshan, giving them the benefit of doubt. Abeera alias Tooba was murder in 2014. Later, her body was packed in a box and thrown at Lorry Adda. The convict was identified through CCTV footage. As many as 34 people testified in the case.
