Abid Sher Ali announces new loadshedding schedule

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali announced on Thursday the new loadshedding schedule for urban and rural areas. During a question-answer session in the National Assembly, Abid Sher Ali said urban areas will face 6-7 hours shutdown, while the loadshedding duration will be 8-9 hours in the rural areas. He vowed that the loadshedding duration will decrease further next year. The minister said that billions of rupees need to be recovered from IPPs, federal and provincial departments and Azad Kashmir government.
