AC sends Shafqat Cheema to Adiala Jail on judicial remand

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Accountability Court (AC) has on Monday sent director foreign ministry Shafqat Cheema to Adiala Jail on a 14-day judicial remand. The AC heard a case regarding Shafqat Cheema’s assets, in which the Nation al Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials presented the record of diamonds recovered from the his laptop in the court. The court rejected the NAB’s request for more physical remand and sent him to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.
