ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the government accepts the court orders, but the local government elections cannot be held in Islamabad tomorrow.

Talking exclusively to 92 News on Friday, he said that intra-court appeal will be filed against the court verdict. "It is impossible to make arrangements and provide security to 1,000 polling stations," he added.

He said that it will take four-five months to hold the local government elections in Islamabad while the general elections could be held after 8-10 months.

On the other hand, the federal government has prepared for filing the intra-court appeal. It has obtained the attested copy of the verdict.
