Accepting resignations of a few MNAs is dishonesty: Shah Mahmood Qureshi
MULTAN (92 News) - PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that all MNAs had tendering their resignations simultaneously, but accepting a few of them is dishonesty.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that Imran Khan would contest the elections in all five constituencies in the by-elections.
"It was a difficult decision to field his daughter Mehr Bano against Musa Gillani in the by-election. She is a literate woman and will advance the narrative of Imran Khan," he maintained.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi condemned a ban on mourning processions in Occupied Kashmir. "I request the Pakistan government to summon the Indian high commissioner to the Foreign Office and lodge their protest," he added.
He said that he was surprised Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto had not issued a statement after an attack on Palestine. "Miftah Ismail has stated that he has not come to control inflation, but to save the country from going default," he maintained.
The minister said that the imposition of a fixed tax on traders is unjustified.
