Accountability court acquits ex-PM Nawaz Sharif in plots allotment case

LAHORE (92 News) - An accountability court acquitted former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the plots allotment case.

Qazi Misbah, counsel for Nawaz Sharif, contended that the reference was constituted against his client mala fide. "Nawaz Sharif has neither a role in the allotment of the plots nor a case can be formed under the new law," he added.

After hearing the arguments, the court acquitted former premier Nawaz Sharif.
