ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has said that accountability of corrupt elements and public welfare are included in the foremost priorities of the current government on Friday. The prime minister said during a meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and senior lawyer Babar Awan. During the meeting, PM Khan vowed to strengthen the institutions. “Accountability, transparency and reforms are the foremost priorities of the government and all corrupt elements will be arrested,” the premier told Babar Awan. He also maintained that Ehsaas Kifalat Programme will raise the living standards of the poor. Both the leaders exchanged views on important national affairs. However, the PTI senior leader briefed Imran Khan on various legal, constitutional and political issues. Inside story of meeting between KP CM and PM On the other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed matters pertaining to the province. The sources said that the prime minister also decided to provide another chance for the sacked ministers from cabinet. Pm Khan expressed his desire that the sacked minister should be given another chance to make the team stronger. “I advised the ousted ministers that the KP chief minister is my representative and challenge the CM as same like to challenge me,” he told Mahmod Khan.
