Accused confesses to murder and rape of six-year-old girl Maham in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The accused, who was arrested in the rape and murder of six-year-old girl Maham, has confessed to the crime in Karachi's Korangi Zaman Town.

In his confessional statement before Magistrate Adil Nazir Sehto on Wednesday, Zakir said that he had killed the innocent girl in fear of being apprehended.

He disclosed that he had kidnapped Maham on July 27.

Later, the court sent the accused to jail after rejecting the plea of his identification parade.

On Tuesday, the anti-terrorism court had remanded the accused in the police custody for five days.
