Accused who damaged Ranjit Singh's statue at Shahi Fort arrested

LAHORE (92 News) – The police have arrested the accused who had damaged the statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh at Shahi Fort on Tuesda.

The accused identified as Rizwan had damaged the statue with a hammer.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from Lahore CCPO Ghulam Muhammad Dogar. He ordered to restore the statue to the original shape and reinstall it.

CCPO Ghulam Muhammad Dogar said that strict action would be taken against the accused.
