Accused granted bail in Ranjit Singh's statue breaking case

LAHORE (92 News) – Magistrate Hassan Sarfraz Cheema granted bail to the accused involved in the breaking of the statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh on Friday.

The court turned down the police's request to send the accused to jail and ordered the accused to furnish surety bonds worth Rs 50,000.

The police told court that the accused's investigation had been completed and his challan would be presented in court soon.

Muhammad Rizwan had broken the statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh at Shahi Fort.
