Accused involved in killing Sri Lankan citizen to be tried in jail on daily basis

SIALKOT (92 News) – The accused involved in the killing of Sri Lankan citizen Pyriyantha Kumara will be tried in jail on daily basis.

The decision was made during a meeting between the prosecution and the Punjab government on Saturday.

The Punjab government also directed the prosecution to complete the challan at the earliest. During the investigations, the role of 34 accused has been clarified.

The anti-terrorism court has remanded all the arrested accused in the police custody and they will be produced on December 21.

On the other hand, the police have released 46 accused, out of 131, after a complete investigations. The police said that 46 people had no role in the Sialkot tragedy.
