Accused of Taimoor Riaz murder case still at large

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Both the accused of Taimoor Riaz murder case are still at large as the police has not been able to arrest them so far. The case has been referred to the Central Investigation Agency (CIA). The homicide unit of police would carry out the investigation. Moreover, new SOPs have also been generated for the check posts. According to the new SOPs, a fire would be shot at the tyre of the care if a suspected person tries to speed away. Direct firing would only be allowed in case of cross firing. Twenty seven-year-old Taimoor Riaz was shot dead by Islamabad police on Friday for not stopping on the check post.
