ACE summons Sheikh Rasheed in government fee scam

LAHORE (92 News) - The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has summoned Awami Muslim League chairman Sheikh Rasheed in a scam of the government fee worth millions of rupees.

Sheikh Rasheed faces the charge of misappropriating fee sold out to a private housing scheme in Islamabad.

He has been directed to appear before the Lahore ACE Head Office along with the record on July 15. The ACE has also summoned the relevant society administration for investigations.

Reacting to the summons, Sheikh Rasheed said that this land has been in his possession for the last 50-60 years. "The ACE has summoned me. Let's see what they say. I could not understand what allegation he faces," he added.
