Achakzai accuses Lahorities of supporting British for occupying Afghanistan

LAHORE (92 News) - Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai has given another controversial remarks, insulting Lahories by accusing them of siding with British along with Hindus and Sikhs in occupying the Afghan territory.

Mahmood Achakzai insulted the people of Lahore by being a guest of Lahore. He also termed the people of Lahore as slaves of the British. He made these remarks while speaking at the PDM's decisive power show in the presence of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz at Minar-e-Pakistan on Sunday

Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that the people of Lahore tried to occupy the Afghan territory together with the British. "I am sad that the people of Lahore sided with the British," he claimed.

He said that where the ‘Kalima’ was recited, all of those territories were occupied by the British, the only homeland was Afghanistan which stood against the British, he alleged that Lahore supported the occupation of Afghanistan.

Federal Minister Murad Saeed reacted strongly to Mahmood Achakzai's controversial statement.

Punjab CM's Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that he condemned the controversial statement of Mahmood Achakzai.

Fawad Chaudhry said that Punjabis paid the price of freedom with their blood, Punjabis are the victims of their own mistake.

Mahmood Achakzai had earlier taunted the people of Karachi for speaking Urdu during a public gathering in Karachi.
