Acid thrown on two women over trifle in Quetta; culprit arrested

QUETTA (92 News) – A youth threw acid on two women over a trifle in Quetta on Friday. Rimsha and her brother’s wife Hina had gone to bazaar where Vijay threw acid on them. They received severe burns and were taken to Civil Hospital. Later, they were shifted to Bolan Medical Hospital. Mehwish, sister of Hina, told 92 News that they had a quarrel with Vijay over a trifle a couple of days ago. She appealed to the authorities concerned to provide them justice and protection. Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik has taken notice of the incident. The police have arrested the accused and started investigations.
