Acting Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri accepts resignations of 123 PTI MNAs

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Acting Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri has accepted the resignations of 123 MNAs belonging to the Pakitan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to a press release, Qasim Suri has issued a notification from National Assembly Secretriate regarding acceptance of the resignations of 123 PTI MNAs.

Earlier after the success of the no-confidence motion against former prime minister Imran Khan, PTI members had submitted their resignations.

PTI leader Imran Khan confirmed the decision after a meeting of the parliamentary party on Monday. He said that his party will not sit with the thieves. "Sitting with them will be tantamount to accepting the foreign conspiracy as legal," he concluded.
