KARACHI (92 News) – The authorities have on Thursday decided to take action against the prominent politicians who supported former Lyari gang war ring commander Uzair Baloch in criminal activities.

Sources said that an action is expected to be started against the politicians of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) who had links with Uzair Baloch and other criminals.

“The three close aides of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari also had links with criminals running gangs and persons who were working for anti-Pakistan agencies,” sources added.

Sources further said that the security agencies are expected to take action against former provincial minister Sharjeel Memon, former secretary board Dr Javaid Shah, Tariq Sayal, former provincial minister Zulfiqar Mirza and eight other PPP leaders in the next few days.

Earlier, the notorious Lyari gang war commander had made startling revelations regarding the nexus of crime and politics during a joint investigation.
