Aerial firing on New Year’s Eve injures 20 in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – At least 20 people were injured due to aerial firing while another was injured due to fireworks in various parts of the city on New Year night celebrations. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. At least three people, including two policemen, were arrested for violating the aerial firing ban. The police also resorted to baton charge when youth went out of control at Sea View and Nazimabad Five Star Chowrangi. According to police, at least 19 people were arrested from both the areas.
