ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid on Wednesday said that Silsila Alikhil, the daughter of Afghan ambassador, was not abducted but was missing for few hours.

Speaking to the journalists in Rawalpindi, the minister maintained that the ambassador's daughter changed four taxis in a few hours. "According to the our investigation, no unknown person had sat in her any taxi," he added.

Sheikh Rasheed also said that investigation into the incident is underway and the facts will be released soon. "Anti-Pakistan elements will be failed," he added.

Criticizing PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, the interior minister said that the PML-N leader's language is non-parliamentary. Maryam Nawaz is giving statements against Imran Khan not Indian PM Narendra Modi," he added.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said the youth would foil the hybrid war launched against Pakistan under a conspiracy by the enemies of the country including India and Israel.

The minister said, youth, particularly those who are well versed with the social and electronic media, must be ready in the face of ongoing hybrid war, which might be expedited in the days to come.

He urged the youngsters to come forward to play a role to defend the country as in the contemporary world; social and electronic media is being used for hybrid war.

The minister said the enemies are hatching conspiracies to malign Pakistan.

He said, the ambassador’s daughter changed four taxis to travel in few hours which reflects that there is no issue of law and order in Islamabad. Indian media is aggressively propagating against Pakistan and trying to make it an abduction case.

The enemies, however, are trying to give the incident a different angle which had nothing to do with reality. However, he said, crime is reported all over the world including Indian cities.

Sheikh Rashid said Prime Minister Imran Khan had directed the agencies, all the Chief Secretaries and Inspector General of police of the four provinces to remain fully alert and keep a vigil on the security situation.
