Afghan female footballers, coaches reach Lahore for one-month stay

LAHORE (92 News) – A 79-member contingent comprising of Afghan female footballers, their families and coaches reached Lahore on Wednesday.

The contingent had entered Pakistan through Torkham on Tuesday.

The footballers will stay in Pakistan for a month.

On the other hand, Afghan women cricket team former director Tooba Singer said that punishment of a ban on country's female team should not be given men's team.

He asked the international community to support the Afghan players.
