Afghan media’s conspiracy against Pakistan exposed

LAHORE (92 News) – The conspiracy of Afghan news channel has been exposed for sharing fake picture after the attack on Pakistan Army’s check post by Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) on Sunday. According to the details garnered, the Afghan media run a negative propaganda against Pakistan for sharing fake pictures after a group led by Members of the National Assembly (MNA) and PTM leaders Mohsin Javed and Ali Wazir, assaulted Kharqamar check post, Boyya, North Waziristan tribal district. The social media accounts, operating by Afghanistan, also participated in anti-Pakistan campaign but after exposition of fake picture, the Afghani media become nervous and confused. A section of Afghan media attempted to sensationalise the incident by spreading fake pictures on the incident. Later after getting called out it had to retract it. Pajhwok Afghan news started the propaganda by publishing old pictures of protestors including injured ones on social media.

Afghan media apologizes

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), they wanted to exert pressure for release of suspected terrorists’ facilitator arrested the other day. The Afghanistan news channel apologized after social media exposed their propaganda of sharing fake pictures of protesters. “Correction, Sorry for publishing old photo, 45 protestor were wounded as Pakistani security forces fired on #PTM protestors in Miranshah of #Waziristan,” the news channel tweeted.
Five soldiers injured by firing of PTM’s group: ISPR
Five army soldiers were injured in firing opened by a group of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) while attacking Khar Kamar check post, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

According to the ISPR, a group led by MNA Mohsin Javed and MNA Ali Wazir assaulted Kharqamar check post at the North Waziristan tribal district.

“They wanted to exert pressure for the release of suspected terrorists’ facilitator arrested the other day. Troops at the check post exercised maximum restraint in the face of provocation and direct firing on the post,” the ISPR said. It also said that the attackers came with a motive to release some suspected terrorists, however, three attackers were killed and 10 sustained injuries in the exchange of fire, ISPR said. It added that due to the firing of the group as many as five soldiers also got injured. According to the ISPR, PTM’s leader Ali Wazir among seven aides were taken into custody, whereas, Mohsin Dawar [Member of National Assembly and PTM’s leader] managed to flee from the location.
