Afghan Peace Conference scheduled to be held in Islamabad postponed
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Afghan Peace Conference scheduled to be held in Islamabad has been postponed on the request of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
The Afghan president had requested to postpone the conference during a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying they want to participate in the conference with better preparation.
According to a press release issued by the Foreign Office on Friday, the Afghan Peace Conference is likely to be held after Eidul Azha.
Pakistan was to host the three-day conference starting from Saturday.
