ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Afghan Taliban have accepted Mullah Akhtar Mansoor as their new ameer, while Mullah Yaqoob and Siraj Haqqani have been made naib ameer to remove the differences. Reliable sources very close to Afghan Taliban said that the new ameer was selected after the death of Mullah Omar and his death was concealed so that the programme of Americans’ exit might not be changed. They revealed that Baghlan former governor Mullah Abdul Jabbar used to stay with Mullah Omar every time. Mullah Abdul Jabbar was his only friend whom he had told what should be done in the wake of his death or arrest. The sources said that Mulllah Omar had directed that in the wake of his death or arrest, the most respectable Ulema Mullah Sheikh Abdul Hakeem, Mullah Abdul Salam, political wing in-charge Mullah Akhtar Mansoor and military wing chief Mullah Qayyum Zakir be informed. After the death of Mullah Omar in January 2013, the information was conveyed to all the five personalities in Quetta. Later, Mullah Akhtar Mansoor and Mullah Zakir met both Ulema about whom Mullah Omar had directed. Both Ulema Mullah Abdul Hakeem and Mullah Abdul Jabbar appointed Mullah Akhtar Mansoor as his successor and administer him the oath to continue the mission of Mullah Omar.
