ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Omar Zakhilwal has on Monday called on Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz in Islamabad on Monday. During the meeting, matters pertaining to bilateral relations and regional situation came under discussion, while the situation caused by drone attacks was also discussed. The is the first official contact since the death of Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour in US drone last week. The adviser briefed the Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan regarding Pakistan’s stance. Sources said that Sartaj Aziz expressed concerns over the use of Afghan soil in drone attacks in Balochistan. “The strike has disrupted the Afghan peace process,” he said.
