PESHAWAR (92 News) – After causing devastation in Karachi, heavy rains wreaked havoc in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Swat, all canals and streams were in flood due to the continuous rains. Canals swelled after the heavy rains in Malam Jabba, Mahodand and Madin. A woman drowned in the River Swat at Fatehpur. Several tourists were trapped after the flood washed away Bahrain Bridge. The road links of Kalam were disconnected due to the rains. In Upper Dir, the River Panjkora is in a middle-level flood. The authorities got vacated houses Bashegram and Bela Villages. Owing to the landslide, Sheranagal-Kumrat Road was closed traffic. Moreover, the authorities have issued flood warning in the River Indus at Tarbela. In Mardan, five people, including women, were injured in different roof-collapse incidents.
