Agriculture sector delegation meets PM Nawaz Sharif, discusses fertilisers subsidy and increased electricity bills

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A delegation comprising agriculture sector called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Wednesday and exchanged views on subsidy on fertilisers and increased electricity bills. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Sikandar Bosan, Rana Tanveer, Ahsan Iqbal, Riaz Hussain Pirzada also attended the meeting. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif assured the farmers that all issues will be resolved immediately because agriculture is the backbone of the country’s economy. He said that the government trying day and night to strengthen country’s economy.
