ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has declared the economic policies of the government as a failure. Addressing a press conference at National Press Club with Marriyum Aurangzeb and Sindh former governor Muhammad Zubair on Monday, he said that the government had failed in controlling the tax collection and current expenditures. “There is no example of economy falling every year across the world. The economy has entered the red zone in just one year,” he said. The PML-N leaders said that at least two million people need jobs each year, but one million people have been left jobless. “We have heard that the government is closing its air space. He said that the government is running the economy through a borrowed team. “The government claims a reduction in import, but now the State Bank of Pakistan has exposed the reality,” he said. The PML-N leader said that the projects launched by the previous government had been stopped and now billions of extra rupees had to be spent to complete the projects. “The budget deficit has reached record low,” he said. He said that people are standing with the Kashmiris. “Why has the PM not visited a friendly country? The foreign minister has not visited a single country except China,” he declared.
