LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has demanded the open trial of the foreign funding case, saying that the biggest dacoity of the country’s political history had been committed. Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will have to give the money trail. “Why are you not presenting yourself for accountability if you are clean?” he questioned. He said that 23 accounts of the PTI had been traced which were not reported to the ECP. “Amounts were received from abroad in the name of making Naya Pakistan,” he said. The PML-N leader said that millions of people have gone below the poverty line. “The crocodiles of corruption have assembled under the umbrella of Imran Khan. Accountability should be impartial,” he said. He said that Imran Khan Niazi should write a letter to the NAB chairman if he is serious, presenting himself and the cabinet members for accountability. “We will purge the Pakistani politics of the crocodiles of corruption. The PML-N has been raising voice against the foreign funding issue,” he said. Ahsan Iqbal alleged that the government wants to make the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) ineffective. He said that the PML-N is taking action against the Daily Mail reporter. “The PML-N Parliamentary Advisory Group Party is running the matters,” he said.
