Ahsan Iqbal says govt cannot hide its economic deterioration

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has said that the government cannot hide its economic deterioration.

Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Friday, he said that the government shrunken the volume of economy. "The prices of daily-use items are sky-high. The poor people are unable to make both ends meet," he maintained.

Challenging the government for a debate on economy, Ahsan Iqbal said that the government had thrown the country into loans.

He said that Shah Mahmood Qureshi's speech shows that Imran Khan is presenting him as his alternate. "Qureshi's speech is showing that he is performing tasks of all ministries except his ministry," he added.

Ahsan Iqbal said that Shah Mahmood Qureshi used to eulogize Asif Zardari and now he is criticizing him. "Tomorrow Shah Mahmood Qureshi will be seen criticizing Imran Khan," he maintained.
