WASHINGTON (92 News) – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that the ISPR should avoid comments on the state of economy. Reacting to the ISPR statement, he said that irresponsible statements could affect credibility of Pakistan. “The economy is stable and there is no need to follow the IMF Program,” he maintained. Ahsan Iqbal said that the economy is better than it was in 2013. “Investment in the industrial sector has doubled due to energy projects and recovery of taxes,” he said. The minister said that the biggest development project in the country’s history is being implemented. “Funds are also being provided for security operations,” he added.
