Ahsan Iqbal seeks clarification over preventing him from entering AC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has on Monday summoned officials including Inspector General of Police and Deputy Commissioner in Punjab for explanation over barring federal ministers, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders and media persons from entering accountability court. The interior minister lashed out at Secretary Interior, Chief Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, IG and SSP for barring federal ministers, PML-N leaders and media persons from entering accountability court. Sources said that Ahsan Iqbal also summoned Punjab Rangers Commander for explanation. He directed the secretary to compile the report after liaising with DG Rangers. He also summoned to incorporate in the report the SOP for the coordination between civil administration and the paramilitary force.
