Air Marshal Arshad Malik assumes charge as PIA CEO, chairman

KARACHI (92 News) – Air Marshal Arshad Malik has assumed the charge as chief executive officer and chairman of the Pakistan International Airlines. In a video message on Friday, he expressed the resolve to regain the lost dignity of the national flag carrier of Pakistan. He said that the PIA is facing economic and administrative difficulties. The PIA chairman said that there is no problem which cannot be solved. “The focus of my strategy will be to make the institution independent,” he said. He said that his top most priority will be to ensure arrival and departure of flights on time.
