Aitzaz Ahsan demands shifting of Asif Zardari’s cases to Sindh

LAHORE (92 News) – PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan has demanded the shifting of the case against former president Asif Zaradri to Sindh. Talking to 92 News on Monday, he said that the permission allowing former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to go abroad is giving the impression that special treatment was being meted out to people from Punjab, while Sindhis are being ignored. “I do not consider Nawaz Sharif a brave man. He had gone abroad in 2000. Now he is going after leaving Maryam Nawaz in Pakistan,” he said. The PPP leader said that the LHC had announced a right decision. “Everyone’s focus was Nawaz Sharif. The Sindhis question Nawaz Sharif is being sent abroad because he is a Punjabi.” He said that Asif Zardari’s case should be tried in Sindh, but former CJ Mian Saqib Nisar shifted the case to Islamabad. “Asif Zardari is not a narrow-minded person like Nawaz Sharif,” he said. Aitzaz Ahsan said that fake tweets were being posted in his name and the PTI workers are doing it.
