Aizaz Chaudhry calls on US Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Ed Royce

WASHINGTON (92 News) – Pakistan's Ambassador to United States Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry has on Wednesday called on US Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Ed Royce in Washington.

During the meeting, matter relating to US-Pak relations and regional development were discussed.

Previously, Pakistan’s Ambassador to United States Aizaz Chaudhry had said that Haqqani Network is neither Pakistan’s friend nor proxy.

In an interview with a foreign news agency, he said that Pakistan Pakistan wants peaceful relations with India on the basis of mutual respect.

He said this is our message for India to work for revival of relations for creating peaceful environment in the region.

The ambassador said that declaring Pakistan a sponsor of terrorism is the “thinking of just a few minds”.

Aizaz Chaudhry said whenever Pakistan and India wanted to do something in terms of relations, some terrorist activity halted the process, adding that terrorists get encouragement when India stops the process.
