MUZAFFARBAD (92 News) - Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq has said that the situation is peaceful in the valley.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that the relief for Kashmiris is permanent, not temporary. "Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has asked to deal the situation with forbearance. I am thankful to him for resolving the issue," he added.

The AJK PM said that President Asif Zardari had expressed his willingness to give the power supply from Sindh. "No damage of the sit-in participants was reported. The government had no intention to interfere in the peaceful struggle," he added.

He said that no one refuses cheap 'roti' and electricity. "Prices of flour and electricity have been reduced from today. The Pakistan government has happily accepted the burden of Rs23 billion," he maintained.
