MUZAFFARABAD (92 News) - Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider has said that unprecedented solidarity by the Pakistanis and Kashmiris is a tribute to the determination and velor of oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

In a statement on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, he assured to the people of occupied Kashmir that they are not alone in their struggle but the whole Pakistani nation and people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are with them in the hour of trial.

On the other hand, the nation is observing Kashmir Solidarity Day to express wholehearted support of Pakistani nation to the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under United Nations resolutions today.

The day will highlight the plight of oppressed Kashmiri people and remind the world community of its obligations towards the resolution of the outstanding dispute.

The day being marked to expose worst ever oppression being perpetrated by Indian occupation forces against Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K). One minute silence will be observed at 10:00 am across the country.

Human chains will be formed at Kohala, Mangla, Holar and Azad Pattan points linking Pakistan and AJK. Besides different parts of Pakistan, the Kashmir solidarity rallies will also be held in the rest of the world. The Pakistan government has announced a public holiday in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day today.

The events will be organised in a novel manner to expose the tattered and sham face of so-called Indian democracy prevailing in Delhi that ripped off the special status of Kashmir on August 05, 2019.
