ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan said that India has turned Occupied Kashmir into a jail. Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that the statement of political, diplomatic and moral support to Kashmiris does not give the impression of weakness. “There is no military solution to the Kashmir issue, but political and peaceful talks,” he maintained. “Modi is misleading the world though his nefarious acts. The world has accepted that it is not India’s internal matter.” The AJK president said that India had prepared for revoking Article 370 five years back and everyone knew about its occupational steps. “The US issued a surprising statement of its ignorance about the Indian illegal acts. India could mislead the world by resorting to firing on the Line of Control (LoC) or escalating the Pak-India tension,” he said. “The Indian army is subjecting the Kashmiris to the worst torture and committing genocide in Occupied Kashmir which is giving birth to a tragedy.” Sardar Masood Khan said that India is talking about a limited war and so-called surgical strikes. “It will not be limited if the war is imposed on us,” he said. He feared that the traditional war could take the shape of nuclear and affect about Rs2.5 billion people. The AJK president said that 12 members and four lords in the UK parliament are of Pakistani and Kashmiri origin. “Pakistanis have significant influence in North America, Canada and Gulf states. China is also strongly supporting Pakistan in the United Nations Security Council. Russia has also taken a balanced position, which is a good sign. The UK also expressed its reservation on the violations of human rights in Occupied Kashmir. France was also convinced at one stage while the position of the US on the issue is better as well,” he said. AJK President Sardar Masood Khan said that so far 35 citizens have been martyred by Indian unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC). “India is using cluster bombs on the 740km LoC. India is leveling the allegations of intervention against Pakistan despite erecting a strong fence along the 540km LoC,” he disclosed. He said that the Indian defence minister is issuing the provocative statements about the use of nuclear weapons. “Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are ready to counter Indian aggression and their each wall is a defence line,” he declared.
