Aleem Khan resigns from his all businesses before taking oath as minister

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Aleem Khan on Monday announced that he has resigned from the directorship and chief executive posts from all companies of his businesses before taking oath as provincial minister. A day earlier the PTI government has nominated Aleem Khan as Minister for Local Government in the 23-member Punjab cabinet. Aleem Khan announced on Monday through his tweet that he has resigned from his all businesses. “Before taking oath as minister, I have resigned from the directorship and chief executive posts from all companies of my businesses,” he tweeted.   According to an official document, the PTI nominated the cabinet members including Samiullah Chaudhary as Food, Hafiz Mumtaz as Excise Taxation and Narcotics, Makhdoom Hashim Bakht as Finance Minister, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan as Information and Culture, Yasir Humayun Sarfraz as Higher Education and Tourism, Mian Mehmoodur Rashid as Housing and Development, Mian Aslam Iqbal as Industries, Commerce and Investment and Aleem Khan as Local Government and Special Health Care. Besides them Taimoor Khan appointed as Youth Affairs, Raja Basharat as Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Raja Rashid Hafeez as Revenue, Dr Yasmeen Rashid as Primary and Secondary Healthcare and Medication Educaion Punjab, Ansar Majeed Niazi as Labor and Manpower, Mohsin Leghari as Education. Murad Ras named as School Education and Muhammad Akram Chaudhary appointed as Advisor Political Affairs. Muhammad Sabtain Khan, Asif Nikai, Amar Yasir, Malik Nouman Langria, Hussain Dareshak, Ch Zaheer and Hashim Dogar will be announced later. The 23 member of Punjab government took oath today's evening in Punjab Assembly. Acting Punjab governor Pervaiz Elahi administered the oath.
