LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has termed the Orange Line Metro train project a while elephant, saying that there is no option except to complete it. Talking to the media after a high-level meeting on Tuesday, he said that he had no steel mill in Jeddah. “I have never hid in London. How my opponents are talking about my arrest,” he queried. Abdul Aleem Khan said that 30 percent of the local bodies budget will be spent on villages. “We have not sent any case to the NAB.” Expressing his displeasure at Lahore Waste Management Company, he said that the Lord mayor had more powers as compared to powers he had in the past. “No change has occurred in Lahore despite doling out billions of rupees and 8,000 workers,” he said. The minister said that the PTI leadership had promised to bring a change and deliver. He said that there is no project in which the PML-N did not make money. “How those looting the country are demanding accountability? There is no proposal under discussion to impose the governor’s rule,” he said.
