ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government on Thursday appointed special assistant to the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ali Jahangir Siddiqui, as Pakistan's Ambassador to the US. Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has given approval for appointment of Ali Jahangir Siddiqui. In August last year, Siddiqui was appointed as a special assistant to the Prime Minister with the status of a minister of state. He served as chairman of JS Bank and JS Private Equity and was honored by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a Young Global Leader in 2014. He is the son of renowned businessman and banker Jahangir Siddiqui.
