Ali Jahangir takes charge as Pakistan’s ambassador to US

WASHINGTON (92 News) – Ali Jahangir Siddiqui took charge as Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States on Wednesday. Ali Jahangir Siddiqui replaced Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry as Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States. A farewell party will be arranged in honor of the outgoing Pakistani Envoy to US Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry. However, the inquiry of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) continued its inquiry against Ali Jahangir Siddiqui. Hearing of a petition was also continued in Islamabad High Court (IHC) against the appointment of Siddiqui. The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf also wrote a letter, against the appointment of Ali Jahangir, to the acting prime minister.
