Ali Musa Gillani released on bail in Multan SOPs violation case

The police had arrested several PPP workers, including Ali Musa Gilani, for forcibly entering the police station for getting workers released and tearing off the copies of a case on Wednesday.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto condemned the arrest of Ali Musa Gilani and other workers. "Such cheap tactics cannot be an obstacle on their way. Protest is our right and we will get our democratic right on November 30," he said.

The PPP chairman said that the arrest of Ali Musa Gilani shows the government has become nervous. "The people are with democracy instead of the selected government," he added.

Meanwhile, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb condemned the arrest of PPP leader Ali Musa Gilani and workers. She said that the arrest of Ali Musa Gilani will expedite the ouster of the 'fake' government.

It is noteworthy here that PDM has announced to display a political power show on November 30 at Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh; however, the district administration has not yet allowed PDM to hold the public gathering due to coronavirus restrictions. Containers have been placed on different roads for blockages.
