Ali Pervaiz replaced with Maryam Nawaz from NA-127 candidate

LAHORE (92 News) – After the Avenfield reference verdict, Lahore Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) president Pervaiz Malik’s son Ali Pervaiz was replaced with Maryam Nawaz from NA-127 candidate. As per details, the PML-N filed a plea for returning the party ticket of Maryam Nawaz. The PML-N decided to award the party ticket to Ali Pervaiz for NA-127 constituency. Ali Pervaiz lawyer submitted an application to the returning officer (RO) of NA-127. The plea stated that Ali wants to take back party ticket and he will submit the party ticket again with his name. The petitioner requested that let the RO should order to return back the PML-N for NA-127. PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif awarded tickets to the new candidates when the Maryam was disqualified from contesting the polls in the Avenfield reference verdict. Meanwhile, for the provincial assembly seat of PP-173, Irfan Shafi Khokhar will now be contesting in Maryam’s place on the PML-N ticket. Earlier, Nawaz was sentenced to ten years in prison for owning assets beyond his income, whilst his daughter received seven years for her role, while Safdar was one month imprisonment.
