ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday said that Federal Minister for Shipping Ali Zaidi behaved irresponsibly by showing unsigned copy of the Uzair Baloch’s JIT report. Talking to the journalists outside the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office in Islamabad, the Sindh chief minister mentioned that Ali Zaidi went public with a copy of the JIT that, according to him, didn’t bore the signatures of all security officials who were part of the probe team, which piled political pressure on the government to release the original reports. “The minister himself said that someone came to his residence on a motorcycle and dropped off a JIT report. He termed Zaidi’s behaviour highly irresponsible and unbecoming of a member of the National Assembly,” the chief minister maintained. “I think as this is my opinion that they want to help the perpetrators,” Murad Ali Shah said, adding the federal minister should have verified the authenticity of the report given to him before making it public. A day earlier, Ali Zaidi has accused the Sindh government of disappearing eight pages from the JIT report. Addressing a press conference along with Minister for Information Shibli Faraz on Tuesday, he appealed to Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed to take suo motu notice of the matter. “The CJ should summon all the people concerned and ask them the report bears the signature of four officers. Why did two others not sign the report?” he said. The minister said that Uzair Baloch had told that Jalil was murdered on the order of Abdul Qadir Patel. “The PPP should fulfill its desire to bring a no-confidence move against me,” he said.
