Alice Wells reaches Pakistan, to meet Asad Umar, Shah Mahmood

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Alice Wells reached Islamabad on Tuesday on his one day official trip. The US top diplomat will meet Finance Minister Asad Umar and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi. During the meeting, Pakistan and US bilateral relation and current situation of Afghanistan will be discussed. It was also reported that the situation after applying sanctions on Iran will also be part of discussion in the meetings. However, she will not meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa keeping in view the protocol.
