All arrangements finalised for NA-246 by-polls

KARACHI (92 News) - All arrangements have been finalised for by-poll in the National Assembly constituency NA-246, scheduled on April 23. A comprehensive security plan has been chalked out to ensure law and order on the polling day. Including 15 SP, 18 SHO and 9 DSP, 7373 police personnel will be deployed in the constituency to avoid any untoward incident on the polling day. There are 3,57,781 eligible voters in the constituency. 213 polling stations with 769 polling booths have been established for the polling. 16 police personnel will be present inside, 12 will be present outside each polling station. Rangers will also be deployed in the constituency. Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has approved installation of 230 CCTV cameras for monitoring on the polling day.
