All groups will be given representation in Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: Taliban leaders

KABUL (92 News) – All groups will be given representation in Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and now peace should be established in the country.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, they said that they will jointly work for the prosperity of the country.

Taliban leader Shahabuddin said that it was mandatory to follow the principles of Shariah for success in the world and hereafter.

In an interview with a Chinese TV channel, Taliban Spokesman Suhail Shaheen said that dialogues were underway for establishing a broad-based government. "Women are free to get education and do employment under the Shariah laws," he maintained.

The Taliban spokesman said that they hope that China will respect the will and election of the Afghan people. "We welcome China's policy to establish relations with all Afghans. We would have not resisted to the foreign forces had we not been the Afghan nationals," he added.

Suhail Shaheen said that the Taliban had offered resistance against armies of 54 countries with the cooperation of the people.
