ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Following the spike of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) banned all indoor and outdoor wedding across Pakistan from April 5 and last throughout Ramazan.

This was announced by Federal Planning Minister Asad Umar said on Sunday after the meeting of NCOC. The chief secretaries of the four provinces attended the NCOC meeting via video link.

The meeting also took decisions to ensure implementation of SOPs, while from March 29, the provinces will be provided maps of fresh hotspots for lockdown.

According to a statement of NCOC, all types of indoor and outdoor gatherings were immediately banned across the country, including all types of social, cultural, political, sports and other gatherings.
